I've been using the Java version on Linux for some time now, sharing Safes with folks who run the Windows versions, and while the Java version's certainly out of date, it does still work. If you're going to use the Java version, I *would* recommend using the version from SVN, as opposed to the actually-released version, as it includes some nice GUI fixes which make dealing with bigger trees...

Hello - I'll see if I can patch this up myself, later, but figured I'd want to get it in for tracking here first. I'd like to have an additional Layer I could assign to windows which would let them be above the dock, but still interact with other windows normally.
