  • Followup: RE: Building jlibrary-server-xfire failed

Hi, I asked a similar question in a previous post. As best I can figure, the Client build doesn't require either the XFire or AXIS components to build. The default communication method to the jLibrary Server is HTTP, so when I build the Client the result build can run successfully just as the distribution version. That said, I really do want to try a SOAP configuration. Carlos.

  • Followup: RE: Simple Java program to access 1.2 Server

Thank you for your reply Neha. Frankly, what I am attempting to do is to establish my development environment to access the server. I've successfully rebuilt the server and client distribution as described in the documentation. All worked well (after I carefully followed the instructions). I've been attempting to create a new Eclipse project from scratch to develop a Plugin that interfaces...

  • Simple Java program to access 1.2 Server

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has successfully developed a simple Java application (in Eclipes) to connect to the Remote server and list documents in a repository. I've been studying the Client application for hints, but so much of the code is tied to the user interface it's hard for me to be able to separate. I've looked at the Unit tests and they seem to focus on a testing a Local server...

  • Followup: RE: error building client

Sorry. This was my fault for not reading the client build instructions better. The part where you edit the pom.xml to tell it where the Eclipse directory is located is necessary... Carlos S. Zamudio cszamudiO@gmail.com.

  • error building client

Hi all, I've not yet been able to build the jLibrary client. I keep running into the error listed below. Anyone else run into this and find a workaround? Thanks for any advice you may have. • Axis and/or XFire

Hi. I've been (mostly) successfull at rebuilding JLibrary, now I'm trying to understand exactly what is under the hood. There are two subprojects, one for Axis and one for XFire. I haven't yet been able to rebuild the XFire component. Is this a necessary component? Can I successfully deploy JLibrary just using AXIS? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Carlos S. Zamudio.
