I'm sorry for my delay to replay your message.
The V.17 errors were caused from one remote fax machine of an our customer.
He has changed the fax machine and now all works well.
My config now is:
Debian, Hylafax+ 5.2.8, Iaxmodem 1.2.0
Short or long fax (5-15-30 pages) works well, incoming and outgoing.

Sorry it was an error in my printer configuration.
Now my faxserver works well, I've only errors with every V.17 incoming transmissions.
I will try to activate the option
Class1RMQueryCmd: "!24,48,72,96"
in the config files...
This could be a solution?

Ok.
I've installed from source Hylafax+ 5.2.8 without error. Debian Updated.
I've also installed your new version of Iaxmodem 1.2.0
Now the fax server seems to be ok (ex: log file 15 pages, tif file 15 pages)
Sometimes the files are not printed, I don't understand why...
I've only 1 line in my FaxDispatch file in order to print all tif files arrived.

You suggest to remove Hylafax 4.3.1 and install Hylafax+ 5.2.8 (from source or .deb)
Do you think this could be the solution?

I've a lot of hylafax log files correct (without error) but the fax files (tif) ever have few pages... (ex: log-> received 14 pages file tif-> only 6-7 pages)

Hi,
here my config:
PSTN -> Patton -> PBX with Asterisk 1.4, Iaxmodem 1.1.1, Hylafax 4.3.1
I can send fax short or long, with a lot of pages...
but i cannot receive long fax (10-15 pages)...the senders (all our customers) have to send us 2-3-4 fax if there are a lot of pages...
