The server has not been tested with JDK 1.5.0 (and last time I tried jdk1.5, I remember that there were problems). You should try with j2sdk1.4.2_08. j2sdk1.4.2_09 and other varieties of 1.4 should work, too.

Yes; that's definitely true. What version of OpenIPMP are you using. I thought we fixed that problem with the 0.8.1 patch ... ?.

Hmm. Your versions look ok, but now I am realizing that the v0.8.1 patch is labelled as necessary for MySQL 4.1, but that is wrong. It is required for MySQL 4.0. So make sure that you download the patch from the "Patches" section of the OpenIPMP project. I think this is the link:

When you say you get these errors "for every single command", do you mean that the server starts ok, but when you try to access it with a browser (for login, registration, etc), you get errors?
If so you may have a problem with the database setup. Make sure that you are using v0.8.1 (or have the 0.8.1 patch to 0.8). What version of MySQL are you using? If you are using 4.1, you may...

This patch fixes the user creation scripts so that they
