  • Comment: Doom 2 crash on OpenBSD

Logged In: YES user_id=18428 with --enable-debug, the SEGV occurs just after the mallocs in mmus2mid.c, so presumably it's when the SDL starts the music.

  • Comment: Doom 2 crash on OpenBSD

Logged In: YES user_id=18428 I see the same - it crashes (unless run with -nosound) on OpenBSD on 2.4.4 and 2.4.6. (Tested only with --disable-gl on OpenBSD 3.9 i386.)

Logged In: YES user_id=18428 I have added some checks for this for the next release.

  • Comment: demosav versus prbmsav

Logged In: YES user_id=18428 No, it is prbmsav. Except in demo playback, where any saves are called demosav to avoid overwriting the user's savegames.

  • Comment: fedora patch

Logged In: YES user_id=18428 I have added --with-waddir, added /usr/{local/,}games/ to the list of paths to search, and added freedoom.wad to the iwad list.
