  • Comment: Make grepmail work with dos formatted lines

I've added this feature request to my TODO, which is now distributed with the code. I'm going to close this out even though I have not implemented it yet, since I'm moving project hosting to Google Code. But your request will not be forgotten!

  • Comment: makefile config error on OSX

This works for me with 5.8.8 on OS X and my most recent Module::Install-based code. I'm about to release a new version which you should try out if you're still having the problem. I'm closing this bug. If version 5.3034 doesn't work, open a bug at http://code.google.com/p/grepmail/issues/entry. (I'm moving hosting to Google Code.)

  • Comment: cygwin cygcheck -c reports Incomplete

Sorry, but I have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it. I don't distribute any perllocal.pod.postinstall_append. I suspect that cygwin's processing is confused. I'm closing this bug. If you have more info or want me to dig deeper open a bug at http://code.google.com/p/grepmail/issues/entry. (I'm moving hosting to Google Code.)

  • Comment: Unable to install

There's a problem with the install where this file was not distributed. I'll fix this in the next release. In the meantime you can install File::HomeDir separately to get around this problem. Note that I haven't tested this on Windows, so there's a good chance that you'll run into other problems. Do you have a C++ compiler, for example?.

  • Comment: Poor paren matching performance

Gah... Sorry about that. It's been months since I submitted the bug report, so I don't have the file available any more. Sorry about that. I would suggest creating a large file with complex nested parens. (Maybe an EMACS source file. :)

  • Poor paren matching performance

Paren matching performance is very poor for the attached file. To see the problem, open the file, and move the cursor to the first "(" in the file. On my machine, the CPU goes to 100% and stays there for over 30 seconds. After this amount of time I pressed CTRL-c to abort the matching paren search. After aborting the search, halving the file size, and repeating again several times, vim...
