Hi Stuart,
The 32bit windows installer works for 64bit Windows environments. Same counts for Linux systems as long as they have 32bit compatible libraries installed. However, we consider uploading a 64bit Linux installer as there are more pure 64bit Linux systems emerging. So keep an eye on the download page of sf.
Ok guys, have fun with YAWL 2.0 (which has just been release ;)
Stephan.

Sorry sam53, try again the 64bit version. I just tested the new Y4S 2.0 release for linux on 32bit fedora; works fine. Thank you very much for your hint and enjoy YAWL!

Hi Stuart,
Michael forwarded me you screenshots. I run Ubuntu as well and tested YAWL with further five distributions and never saw dynamic forms messed up like this. Is it possible that you played around with your browser fonts once? However, can you test the forms with Epiphany as well?
Thanks, Stephan.

Dear Evandro,
On top of Michael's comment I would like to add:
1. keep the '../engine/databases' folder
2. copy the '../misc/yawldb' folder into '../engine/databases/'
The '../misc/yawldb' folder is an empty yawl database. The creation of an empty yawl derby database is not that straight forward as with a postgesql database. The reason for this is the premature status of the derby...

We found out that the reason is AVG (an anti virus program). The YAWL engine startup routine checks if another tomcat instance is running already, by trying to connect to port 8080. This connection attempt is blocked by AVG and misinterpret by the startup routine.
In YAWL 2.0 RC2 the startup routine is changed. Now it is tried to do a server bind instead of a connection.
Thank you Evandro...

Val refers to pdf files on sf (http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=114611). However, all of them are clean.

Dear Evandro,
Thank you for posting the files. Could you please execute the following command and post the result (make sure that no tomcat instance is running and switch off any firewall if possible):
"C:\Arquivos de programas\Java\jdk1.6.0_13\jre\bin\java.exe" -cp "C:\Arquivos de programas\YAWL4Study-2.0-RC1\misc" CheckPort 127.0.0.1 8080"
In your case, a...

Dear Evando,
Could you do me a favour and send me the YAWLFolder/bin/startengine.bat of your RC1- and BETA-installation. Furthermore, what Java versions are installed on your system?
Send me a personal message via sourceforge if you're reluctant of posting those information here.
All the best,
Stephan.

Hi Job,
Hi Evandro,
We'll offer a new conference example with the next release (RC2). Meanwhile, have a look at the order fulfilment example which is shipped with YAWL Release Candidate 1. It is very comprehensive, uses a lot of YAWL features and is well documented. After installing RC1 you'll find the example in [YAWL installation folder]/misc/examples/orderfulfilment/.
All the best...
