right, and that's the easy part, but I don't even get as far as being able to get useful enough values to set anything.
the issue is, the rssi values range from about 30 to 0 with 30 being closest and 0 being less than a meter a away, less than the distance from my PC to my hip. bluetooth works on the other side of the room, but the rssi value is always zero unless I hold the phone right...

I've got an ATT 2125, which is HTC tornado based windows mobile phone. BT in general work great, headset works at least 15ft away even through walls. I have a cheapy bt dongle on a desktop, and a scan picks it up as well as a sales guys's phone about 50ft away.
however, the distance reading I'm getting with my phone is negative only with "min" of about -30 when holding the phone...

no, an image file is not good because it is not vector based and thus would be a huge download. Also you don't seem to have experience with end users, "simple" image viewer perplex them, especially the pan and zoom aspects.
Flash is vector based, scriptable, and already installed on pretty much every...

I have a patch for this to enable setting the printer on a per modem basis. I'm not uploading more patches because they won't apply clean to just any old install and dmimms hasn't commented on my patches, features, emails regarding security issues, or anything.
If you are interested in ALL my patches, I'd be happy to send a full diff to anyone that asks for it, but I'm not finished enancing...

double check your $BINARYDIR path in config.php, mine is working just fine.
also check to make sure you have all the binaries listed under the line "EDIT IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING" to make sure that they actually exist int he places mentioned.
