GerElb1905 1.4 was a very badly encoded version of the same text as we have in GerElb1871. No versions of Elberfelder from 1905 that I can find include notes, so neither should ours unless someone finds a print copy and types them in.
For the notes... just open GerElb1871.

There are 3-4 Japanese Bibles that will be made available for Sword (and hence BibleTime) very soon. They are fairly old translations, but that is all we can offer at the moment.

For what it's worth, we have had a Zefania to OSIS conversion script (using Perl) for a while: http://www.crosswire.org/ftpmirror/pub/sword/utils/perl/zef2osis.pl. I believe it works quite well.

I read through another report of the same bug and saw that you're using imp2vs for import (rather than osis2mod).
If that's the case, and you're sending it key strings like "$$$Mat 1:2-6a", you should just strip non-numeric characters from verse numbers.
imp2vs is very simplistic. It was written to take files in the same format as mod2imp outputs, so it doesn't expect key values that mod2imp...

Could you post a sample of non-working markup? osis2mod should have no difficulty accepting correctly encoded text in this instance.
Sword doesn't deal with sub-verse references and osis2mod simply throws out the sub-verse portion. So Matt 1:6a will just be turned into Matt 1:6 within the importer. The verse element for the above segment should look something like like:

There are a few problems being described here. There may be a problem somewhere in Sword, but since I don't really know how Sword is being used in this case, I can't identify where it might be. In any case, there is no reason why Sword's handling of < & > should be relevant in this case.
In OSIS, all quotations have to be marked by the element. You may specify how the quotation mark...

The proper way to handle this request would be to convert
the module to OSIS and import the result to Sword. There's
not much value in adding native Zefania read support to
Sword, and it would certainly not be worth the effort.
However, the Schlachter 2000 Bible is no longer available in
Zefania. I presume it was being distributed without
permission and was...

From sword-devel on 10-28-03:
Hi,
I dropped this issue on the gnomesword list but it
seems to be sword
instead.
If I use the regular locale setting of LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8
the sword module
does not recognize this. I have to set it to LAN=nl to
make sword find the
proper config file.
But various gnome applications do not like the short
LANG settings and
complain.
Can...

You should ask Poetry Poon at Asiasoft to GPL his encryption scheme. If it's worth its salt, there shouldn't be any problem with licensors since their work will still be protected. (On the other hand, if the encryption is something trivial like an XOR cipher, the works aren't protected at all right now.) Beyond that, what you're suggesting isn't legal or ethical.
