I did:
export CVS_RSH=ssh
and
cvs -z3
-d:ext:developername@cvs.eddie42.sourceforge.net:/
cvsroot/eddie42 co .
(substituting developername for correctly)
Entered my password, etc.
Tried to commit a file and it said:
cvs [server aborted]: "commit" requires write access to
the repository
cvs commit: saving log message in /tmp/cvsRNJgXQ
What have I done wrong? I haven't...

Eddie's Extensions is a set of Tcl scripts for an eggdrop bot.
After a few months break due to college/university/family related stuff - developement is on track again! In this latest version, the ability for the bot to invite people to other channels has been added. A !devoice command has been implement. The scripts should now work better alongside some other scripted which caused problems...

Someone asked me if it's possible to get Eddie to add
quotes "on the fly" to it's bank of quotes - I'll look
into it.

Sorry for the massive delay in replying to this. Anyway, the problem is caused by other scripts useing the same variable name. Anyway, 0.8.6 will fix that, which I'll release within the next couple of days.

Eddie's Extensions, the Tcl scripts for an eggdrop bot, has now reached version 0.8.5!
New features include a configuration file, channel topic locking, URL displaying, checking of other bots on the botnet and various other features.
If you find any bugs, please let me know. :-)
