So if some of you are saying, an editor is an editor, I think the File->Open menu should be removed. If you need to edit something, open it from a third party app. NPP should not be in the file system browsing business.
I think we can all see how ridiculous that statement was.
I love NPP so far, except for lacking this one particular feature. (A killer for me)
I can understand a...

I had this issue recently. I fixed it by going to...
SiteBar Settings -> Advanced Controls -> Base URL.
Mine was messed up. After fixing this all was fine.

This appears to only happen in FireFox. I could not recreate in IE. (I also did not try hard)
It cleared up for a little while after I cleared all "cookies".
However the problem returned after a unknown amount time.
Clearing the "cookies" again fixed it.
I have been trying to re-create it so that I can do it on demand, but that has not worked out yet...

Using 3.3.5_1.0 with SiteBar 3.3.5 and Firefox - I have somehow managed to muck up most of my links. Because of my inattention I cannot inform of how it happed but only what the results were: All of my links now have "http://[www.mydomain.net]/sitebar/go.php?id=[some number]&url=" prepended to the front. So that "http://en.tldp.org/" becomes...

I see that there is a LDAP Authentication plugin. What would be great for my use is a IMAP server Authentication.
So that if our user has an email account he has a sitebar account.
If a specific server is needed: We use Courier.
Thanks
Charles Andrews.

Ok, follow up: I have stumbled accross at least one place
where I can reproduce this happening.
I'm using Firefox.
Right Click a link, and select "Properties" then select
"Retrieve Link Information"
The retrieved "Link Name" will now be escaped. Save the info
and now the link name is displayed with "\"s.
