Yeah, that part of the documentation (use Classic update manager) was really weird to grok...why in the world would I need to do that?

What it should do and what it does are 2 different things
You can see what I mean if you add the site.xml to your lists of update sites in eclipse and use the tree viewer.

Specifically,
The RadRails update site on
http://update.aptana.com/install/rails/3.2/
contains the following versions:
RadRails 0.9.3.6479
(and for some weird reason has 2 listings for this in the UpdateSite XML?!)
and
RDT 0.9.3.6479
So I don't understand how you can say RadRails always has the latest version of RDT?
The latest version of RDT appears to be...

It appears that Ganymede has a Dynamic Languages Toolkit that include Ruby 0.95
Where is the update site for the latest version of RadRails? The one I found only
includes RDT 0.9.3.6...

I have some questions about the functionality of RDT in Eclipse 3.4 (using RDT 0.95, latest release)
vs using RadRails (RDT 0.9.3.6479)
(BTW, RadRails in Eclipse 3.4 fails to run the Ruby Browser and Hierarchy Views)
(1) (How) Can I configure RDT (0.95) to have the same kind code completion in RadRails that provides templates for blocks
such as
hash.each {|key,value|...

Unfortunately, this does not help.
I know how to get a driver and download it, but how do I tell SQL explorer where the jar file is?
That is, what do you mean by "load the sql driver" ?
How do you do that?

Hello,
I have been looking through the source, and I do not find any API in the call controller or modem driver for dialing out
Possible applications would be
(1) dialing from the screen using a keypad
(2) [more interesting] vice reco dialing
I know (2) is complicated because it requires a modem that can detect the voice over the dial tone.
There are some modems which have this.
