I may discontinue the forum - from looking at similar projects elsewhere it seems that a mailing list is the most effective means of communication.
I have some more time now and am getting serious about diving into a new decoder. More details will follow on the mailing list.

I just installed the stable Tortoise and this issue is really
giving me problems. I often use network drives mounted over
VPN so access is slow at the best of times. The drives are
NTFS so detection of file system type doesn't flag them as
slow. Would it be feasible to specify the drives and folders
that tortoise should be active in?
