exploded. Almost there! It failed with the following

v1.0.3 - This took a step backwards and failed much
earlier than 1.0.2 in the same media directory. The log
seems to indicate that there is a trailing space
character at the end of the album data (culled from the
ID3), but the file system does not support trailing
spaces.
Here is the error line from the console:

In 1.0.2, tried again, got much further before error.
I have an MP3 with an Album Title variable of "Body
Movin Remix CD.."
The two periods are not being filtered when the file is
being renamed to meet the following pattern:
[MP3 - author]/[MP3 - album]/[MP3 - mp3.id3tag.track] -
[MP3 - title].mp3
The line in the log with the failure indicates this
clearly...

I believe I have tracked a bug I encountered down that
may be of interest. When attempting to sort my MP3
collection, the program would abort shortly after
starting the copy phase. It would generate the XML
succesfully, then begin processing the files, then
consistently break on the same files.
The error was always like the following...
