If you see some features in scintilla not in gtksourceview, please tell me it. I think the only one (visible by the moment) is the folding feature. There is any internal feature that it is not implemented int gtksourceview? (Sorry for the english)
I think Geany must use gtksourceview instead of scintilla because if all the application is using gobject / gtk+ environment that is the correct widget because it has been developed using it.
It is used by gedit and other gtk applications and it is part of gnome. If you use it we can help to do gtksourceview better.
