  • Comment: Program appearing without frame

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 I tried this in ~/.icewm/winoptions : Component\ Editor.fResize: 1 Component\ Editor.dResize: 1 Component\ Editor.dBorder: 1 with no results. The 'cool' thing is that these windows can have a lot of similar names, 'Component Editor (library symbol)' and such. Could wildcards be supported here? What is it this SW-vendor have to alter in the program?.

  • Comment: Program appearing without frame

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 Sorry for late response. As I recall I tried such things as ' ' " " or escaping with \ - none of this worked. In fact this is a bug I have filed already once, see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100031&aid=964803&group_id=31 - it might not be a bug as such, to me, having close to no idea of X, the vendor does mess a lot around...

  • Comment: Can't close window unless all commands in terminal finish

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 I'm sorry for not following up on this, but I was looking for an example of this problem not involving a terminal. The terminal is an ordinary Debian xterm running tcsh. However, I'm not sure this is related to the program in question (xterm here), but somehow to the behaviour of icewm. Coming to think of it, icewm doesn't allow me to logout unless all...

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 Both 1.0.9 and 1.2.23 have this problem. I run Debian and have installed using the apt-get system.

  • Can't close window unless all commands in terminal finish

Lately, since running icepref with icewm1.2, I can't close windows unless all commands in the terminals have terminated. That is also so for icewm-1.0.9; the configfile was made with icepref for icewm1.2. Example: start terminal, type 'cat', try closing the terminal by clicking 'x' on title bar. Window doesn't close until the 'cat'-command is terminated. (This should probably be in a...

  • Wish for watching several mailboxes

I use the 'MailBoxPath'-setting to alert when mail arrives for one pop3-mailbox. Can or could Icewm support something like 2 pop3- and 1 imap-mailbox simultaneously, so I can watch if any of my accounts get mail?.

  • Comment: No borders on program, so I can't resize window

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 The 'aplaced.dBorder: 1' in fact helped, the borders got back to normal. Unfortunately all the subwindows like file-browse dialogs etc. have different id-strings, so I had to add these too, for example WM_CLASS(STRING) = "cvPopupWindow_popup", "CvbApp" Then comes the problem with a certain dialog, which has this id: WM_CLASS(STRING) = "_popup", "CvbApp".

  • Comment: No borders on program, so I can't resize window

Logged In: YES user_id=897704 Is this error gone in version 1.0.9.2-7 as it is for me? Further, if you see the gif-file I attached, it didn't lose the title bar, just the outer pixels forming the border you use for resizing etc.
