Trying to join 2 files

And i got a "File size limit exceeded" giving a truncated file
2147483647 Jul 14 14:45 300.mpg
The command used is
mpgjoin --force 300-1.mpg2 300-2.mpg2 -o 300.mpg
Just a comment about to --force
Both files created using mencoder,same parameters, both mpgjoin claims that
Incompatible...
