  • Comment: Improved support for Windows.

I just wanted to report that I dowloaded, configured and compiled LibMTP 1.0.0 on all my platforms without problems. LibMTP under Mingw+MSys has been also tested successfully with both GCC 3.4.5 and GCC 4.4.0. Now I think this topic can be safely closed. Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Carlo Bramini.

  • Support kqemu CPU accelerator.

What about adding support for a CPU accelerator like kqemu, qvm86, kvm, etc? In my opinion the best choice would be kqemu because it is regularly updated and it gives better performances. If such driver is installed into the system and its support is enabled into configuration file, it may be used. I did not find this topic already discussed elsewhere, sorry I did a mistake. Sincerely...

  • GtkGLExt won't compile with MINGW

If the configure is launched under mingw+msys, you get this error message: checking for BASE_DEPENDENCIES... configure: error: Package requirements (gtk+-2 .0 >= 2.0.0 gdk-2.0 >= 2.0.0 pango >= 1.0.0 pangox >= 1.0.0 gmodule-2.0 >= 2.0.0 ) were not met: No package 'pangox' found Actually it will never work in this manner, because pangox does not exist under mingw; it must test...

  • Comment: Improved support for Windows.

Problem solved. I upgraded libtool from version 1.5.26 to version 2.2.6 in my colinux box. Next I deleted configure, makefile.in, etc and then I regenerated everything with autogen.sh. With newer version the problem with "make install" (finally!) disappeared from mingw. So it really seems it was a problem of the old libtool in Debian etch stable. Tested platforms: again mingw+msys, cygwin...

  • Comment: Improved support for Windows.

Today I did grabbed the most recent sources of libmtp from CVS and I retried to compile them. Compilation now completes without troubles. Great job. The "make install" still crashes but I think I have understood the reason. Some files like examples/hotplug seems to be shell scripts. Into examples/makefile.am they are listed into bin_PROGRAMS variable. When configure finishes its job, it...
