clonezilla failing for me. but works with pxe, ubuntu and macs.
Here is the lines from my dhcpd.conf:

Looks like the same bt, different set of steps to cause it.
running dvsource-degrab for over an hour, segfault.
run dvgrab, instant segfault (didn't even create a file)
gdb dvgrab, segfault, bt full, see below
power cycle camera,
dvsource-degrab, worked for maybe a minute, then 'invalid frame' stopped streaming for about 5 seconds, then continued. repeat 4 or 5 times then segfault...

my laptop dieing seems to have confused my camera and causes the camera to ouput something that crashes dvgrab.
dvcam, no tape, record, dvgrab for about an hour on laptop A, laptop battery died.
Plugged in laptop power, boot laptop, dvgrab, instant segfault. try again, instant segfault. tried with gdb, segfault but no debugging symbols.
Booted laptop B, plugged in firewire, gdb dvgrab...
