What's happening?

login security problem (high priority)

Everytime firefox is opened by checkgmail, the gmail website asks me to enter my password. In the past this was never the issue. Also I noticed that my username and password are readable in my browser history while using checkgmail, so if anyone get's a hold of my browser history... I recommend you to leave this password out and just use existing cookies. the following command is used...

Installation problem

when I try to ./configure in ubuntu 8.04(64-bit edition) it states checking for X... configure: error: Can't find X libraries. Please check your installation and add the correct paths! When I do sudo apt-get install xlibs it states that they have bin replaced by xkb-data. Is there any way to fix this problem?.
