  • Followup: RE: Factories?

A building that speeds up the production of hammers or any other type of goods would be easy to create.

  • Followup: RE: hi quick message: same turns

Alright, so "real-time" is not the right technical term. However, if players all move at the same time, it isn't turn-based either. The faster mouse wins: you want your dragoon to attack another unit, but wait, the unit has already attacked your dragoon!

  • Followup: RE: Q Programming: Tile Map Transitions

It works like this: people create graphics. If they want to have them distributed as a part of FreeCol, we ask them whether they agree to license their graphics under the GPL. If they don't, their work is not committed to the repository.

  • Comment: improve Las Casas

As far as I can determine, FreeCol emulates the original game with regard to LasCasas. However, trunk now has the necessary features to implement the desired behaviour (see this article: http://www.freecol.org/news/improvements-to-upgrade-and-downgrade-elements.html)

  • Comment: added feature

One might add the possibility of paying off the natives with trade goods instead of money.

  • Comment: Advantage (balance + naval)

The Conquest, Cooperation and Immigration advantages are in the original game, so they will not be going away. However, it might be a good idea to review the deceleration of immigration. Increased ship movement can be quite beneficial, especially in the earlier stages of the game, but maybe it is too little an advantage. On the other hand, maybe the building advantage should be reduced.
