Hi,
I'd really like to extend KnxWeb with possibility to have live snapshots from web camera. I'm more or less newbie, willing to learn and do the work, but would be really happy for some guidance to fit properly into KnxWeb and JQuery philosophy.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,
thanks for response... Yeap, I have text element with insert value and if it is alone on floorplan, then it seems that KnxWeb stops with xml requests.... Maybe it is someking of special case that's happening only to me...

Hi,
I ran into weird behaviour and would just like to check if someone can confirm same behaviour. I'm still using customized v6.0... I spotted the other day, that if you leave Text element on floorplan alone, than KnxWeb won't query on each second for state. If I add light for instance, then it starts sending XML requests ...
anyone else can confirm this ?

Hi,
I cannot understand release notes fully in this part:
"The --playerid/-e option can be used to force squeezeslave to connect using the softsqueeze player type if needed."
Does this mean that I can achieve same result with using -e option. If yes, what to put instead of -O ?

Hi,
I'm using squeezeslave under LMCE (it has older version of slimserver) and in 0.8 versions it used to work ok with -O option. But I have a lot of hiccups when playing audio, so I'm always trying to have latest version and hope that this problem will go away...
But now I see that 0.9 version is not recognizing/supporting -O option anymore... Is this intentional ?

Hi,
I've modified cgoto so now I can specifiy custom image lying on server ('custom') or specify full URL for image from internet ('URL' option that let's you to use some scripts for automatic creation of goto buttons - that's my case)....
I've created script based on this nice article :

Hi,
thanks for info. I see that modification of EIB specific code is the way to go.... I'm now considering two options :
- just make EIB part inactive and try to communicate with linknx over TCP port, but several questions arise :
- can I control linknx devices from outside ?
- will I receive all changes in devices' states as consequence of rule processing ?
- is this way...

Hi,
another finding. If I speak right away (in time windows of that first RTP stream prior TTS prompt, it seems in Zanzibar logs that it's recognized properly, but I get no prompt or response in speech back. But after that it seems it starts sending to another port and then no recognition is possible. So basically recognition works, but only when RTP stream is sent to proper port.
