Maybe we can safely blame on WM since it never updated since 2001, but maybe you have a workaround for this, since qvwm is really good wm.
Other qusetion if we can use themeable icons without recompile it and not use too many icon on context menu.

I'm using qvwm as window manager. And everytime xfe start, it start at y=0 and x=0. It did not have a window decoration from the WM (ie. it doesnt have title bar and handle to close/max/min). This happen to xfe, xfv and xfi
However it works fine when starting win -m option or I edit the config file to include ypos=100, xpos=100
Anyway, its a great file manager.
