What's happening?

Images in HTML view pane load twice

If a feed contains both an image in the HTML preview and a comment link, and the comment feed finishes loading before the image does, the image will be fetched and displayed twice. I have several feeds which display this effect, but the most obvious on my feed list is this one: http://feeds.feedburner.com/stuckincustoms/EmRA?format=xml.

1.6.0 crashes on all articles of certain feeds

All of the articles I have clicked on in the feed at http://www.taxpayer.com/rss.xml have resulted in a liferea crash. 100% reproduceable. liferea 1.6.0 on Gentoo, no patches applied.
