gnome-icon-theme was not installed, but shared-mime-info was. Just
installed "gnome-icon-theme-1.2.3-15" and already had "shared-mime-
info-0.14-6". Installing gnome-icon-theme did not appear to fix the
problem, though I do appear to get fewer GnomeUI-Critical messages
(but the segfault occurs in the same spot):

Trying to run gnome-control-center from package "control-
center-2.6.1-10", fink version "0.8.0.rsync", but it segfaults
immediately.
Here's the output as run from gdb:

Any idea when the message queueing will be added? Is this,
say, 1 month off or 1 year off?
If it's going to be a while, might be worth using a
temporary hack, because the existing "notify me audibly
after I already know I'm getting a message" behavior is kind
of annoying (I'd rather hear the two sounds, personally).

I'm under the impression that this can't be done in
KMyMoney2 at the moment; please let me know if I am
mistaken.
I have an outstanding student loan that I'm paying on
every month. I would like to be able to set up a
recurring split transaction, one split being the
principal and the other being interest. The net value
of this recurring transaction should always be the
same. Of...

Several years later, I got and compiled the CVS code and I'm
having the same problem (on a different machine).
The audio buffer is just too big. I find that the lower I
set "wanted.samples" the better the sound becomes.

It's just a way of notifying the user that a new
conversation has been initiated without actually opening a
conversation window yet. Having conversation windows appear
randomly while you're performing other tasks can be annoying.
A little OT, but Trillian supports this behavior. So do the
newest versions of AIM, I believe.

>Obviously, you can disable the "Hide new messages until tray
>icon is clicked" option to fix this behavior.
Well, yes...but I want the best of both worlds (to be able
to queue conversations as well as hear a sound when a new
message is received)

This may have been discussed before, but I did a quick
search of the bug tracker and didn't find anything
about it in the last few months.
The way Gaim currently operates while using the systray
plugin, when it recieves a new message the systray
plugin begins to flash. Click on the systray plugin,
and a new conversation window will open (or the
conversation will be added to an existing...

This happens to me. I run Gaim at home and at work, on both
Linux and Windows at both places. If I remove a buddy at
home under Windows, as soon as I log in under Linux or at
work the buddy pops back up. I think that when you log on,
Gaim is adding users found in "blist.xml" but missing from
the server list, to the server list.
I can reliably avoid this...

Do you alternate between using Gaim on multiple machines or
under multiple operating systems? I have this kind of
problem because I run Gaim both at home and at work, and
whenever I delete a user on my home PC he gets re-added
automatically when I go back to work. Gaim keeps a local
copy of your buddy list, and when you sign on to your AIM
account any...
