Hmmm... The 1.0.22 configure script generated no such error for me on Debian 5.0r3, Ubuntu 9.04, and Cygwin 1.5.x. Could you send me a copy of your "config.out" file? Also, on what kind of system are you trying to install littleutils-1.0.22?.

Added new littleutil fileown, which allows a query of a file's uid/username or gid/group name. Added -m option to opt-jpg to control whether comments and other extra markers are copied with the JPEG files.
