That does not seem correct to me.
Which version of MySQL and my-swatch are you using?
With MySQL 3.23 and my-swatch 0.6 everything seems to work fine. Did you use the template for creating the database in MySQL provided in the tar.gz with my-swatch?.

mailman mailing list for the project my-swatch?
I can't seem to remember it and i cannot find any
direction on the site in how to recover it.
Thanks.

It seems that in FreeBSD, unlike Linux you have to specify the IP and Port where the daemon is going to operate.
The use of the -S switch worked fine.

I compiled pure-ftpd in FreeBSD 5.1 just fine, but when i start the daemon nothing happens.
I am currently trying with the following options:
pure-ftpd -O clf:/var/log/pureftpd.log
I also tryed with other options and without any arguments. Nothing happens and the logfile says nothing about it.
When trying to connect:
ftp: connect: Connection refused
Just like if it wasn't running.

When doing a network scan (xxx.xxx.xxx.0/25) after nmap completes it inserts wrong values in the "Address" column.
When scanning xxx.xxx.xxx.11 he inserts "(xxx.xxx.xxx.1"
When scanning xxx.xxx.xxx.21 he inserts "(xxx.xxx.xxx.2"
Some way to fix this?.

I'm running the nagios_nmap.cgi to insert the hosts trough nmap and it gives me an error:
ERROR 1136: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
I resolved this by inserting an extra NULL field in the nagios_nmap.cgi file. Just letting you know, is this a bug or is it known?.

I have a binary in tcpdump format. I can make it readeble with snort -r <filename>.
What i would like to do is to put that 200 Mb of information in the text file into ACID so that i can browse happily instead of reading all that...
Can someone point me the way?.

Sometimes my-swatch would reopen the file containing the logs and would parse it all over again. This could cause the re-sending of e-mail alerts and all other associated triggers leading to disinformation and pain for system administrators.
