    Hy, i've been running popfile since v0.21 was first released and now i've moved it to a new server. It's running in this configuration: Internet => Postfix => PopFile => Postfix => etc... But to my experience unix sockets are way faster then setting up yet another network connection. Therefor i want to ask if it is possible to add support to connect to a unix socket...

    I found that the problem also occurs with the printer module and also with the user tracking module. They don't query all the MAC addresses. A sollution would for the host registration would be to query the database and if none off the MAC addressess are found reg one.

  • Auto Backup Image File

    An option to backup the existing image file would be nice. So FOG automaticly backups the existing image when uloading a nex image. While only keeping 1 or N backups.

    You can work around this way by building a self extracting exe and let it execute the msi in the following way msiexec /i I can succesfully deploy msi this way.

  • Schemaupdater crashes when database exists

    I was trying to install FOG on a remote MySQL database server where the fog database already exists and there was a user with limited rights. The schemaupdate crashed saying tha database already exsists. To solve the problem I commented out the create database line and change the numbers off the following elements with $i++ starting with $i = 0 offcourse.

    Logged In: YES user_id=1153728 May I ask why he doesn't do this at my place, for example: when I reboot the server he often gives out an ip that is already in use, theirfore giving loads off problems for the person who had the ip before. Thats what I'm trying to solve.
