Hi!
I use kaffeine 0.8.3 on linux ppc. I found two little endian problems:
1. EPG OSD colors are wrong
2. screenshot colors wrong
I attached a patch which fixes the Problem.

A fresh ubuntu lacks of mp2/mp3 support. You have to install libmad etc. from universe.
