Hi all,
I've been playing with git some more, and I have setup a fresh read-only git repo here on SF.
I have also setup a public git repo on github:
http://github.com/bozho/console
If I have configured the github repo correctly, you can add your stuff...
What is a good workflow for a public repository? Where should people push their changes (branches?)

I would like to keep the 'official' Console repository under my control. Git seems like a better choice than SVN for this kind of thing (mainly because people can easily create their private repos locally and hack away).
I'll keep a read-only Git repo here and a public one at github... Good stuff from github will get pulled into the official repo.

I plan to look at Win7 issues as soon as I buy a new box and Win7 :-)
Is Console working for anyone on Win7? And if it is, under which conditions?

Unfortunately, this is not possible... Console is just a front-end for Windows console windows that support 16 colors. In Console, you can map those 16 colors to something else, but that's it.

The way my time flies lately, a month is nothing :-)
It's really difficult to find some free time to work on Console lately and I can't promise when that's going to change.
Current idea is to setup a git repo on github to allow people to hack away at Console. There are several things implemented by a few people that need to get incorporated into the 'official' build :) I wanted to do this...

Hi,
Overriding font color will override all foreground colors, this is not a bug. Just a not very useful feature :-)
If you want do override the default foreground color, simply adjust color mapping for white.

You mean you'll continue using hg on your side?
What do you think of luislavena's suggestion about using github for public developer access and SF's repository as read-only 'reference' repo?

As I have said many times (it's even written in the help :), Console is not a shell and certainly not a cmd.exe replacement. It is a front-end for console-type applications (including the cmd.exe)
