The SuSE package is (i think) hardcoded to color dephth of 24 - most older clients are only able to display 15 or 16.
I got xrdp in the last years some times working. But after some months (unregularely) it will no more work - every year I have one or two times this Problem. But this time I have no more ideas where to search.
I'm now at the point to give away my Eizo eclients and take some...

Hello,
I compiled xrdp from latest cvs, no problems compiling.
But everytime I try to login (with "rdesktop localhost" or the TS- client from SuSE or from my eClients) there is an error displayed:
"Connecting to sesman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350
sesman connect ok
sending login info to sesman
xrdp_mm_process_login_response: login failed"
Log shows only:
"granted...

After an update of the Xorg- server most special characters of the german keyboard now working. Only some lower significant (<, >, ) don't work. Thanks again for the work.

Hi all,
after some time spended to unsuccessfull tests with the NOMAD- Version of xrdp (no chance to get it working on OpenSuse 11.1 as server with my Eizo eClient's) I cleaned all related stuff and downloaded latest xrdp- version from sourceforge.
Compiling and installing was fast and without problem.
Some changes to the ini- files and voila- I get a connection to my desktop with 1024*768...
