So.. it looks like I need to list each subclass (ala @XMLSeeAlso)? There is no way to say "Allow any valid subclass"?

I have seen several postings on inherience, but no answers. I have a simple hierarchy:
B -> A -> Object
I have one class which has method:
setFoo(A aFoo)
and another which has:
B getFoo()
If I try and map the second on to the first, I see the following log:

the ruby-pam project has been abanded. I have contacted the developer, and he is no longer working on it. I would like to take over ownership of the project and keep it hosted here.
