Thought I'd try the forum. I've been experimenting with YAPoolMan and I have been unable to successfully use it without a config file. I've extended ServerInfo with my own properties, instantiated it, FactoryInfo and PoolInfo objects, and set the properties. Using the PoolInfo, I've instantiated a new Pool object.
