In the game of Spaces and Aces, the aces are automatically played when the cards are dealt. Why is this?
The spaces that start each of the four rows (the left most spaces) should be left blank. The player makes the first moves by placing the aces in those spaces. What ace goes in what space is very important! So why are the first moves made for me?.

thx for the quick response ... this may work, but I was looking for something a little more native.
The c: drive on the machine in question has limited space. To install cygwin just to get the 'diff' command would not be right.
I was thinking on maybe giving WindowsPowershell a whirl and script it that way. Although I am not sure how much trouble that would be.

I realize this has been brought up before. Is it possible to compare two directory trees that were dumped to text files. I would like to find files that no longer exist to delete them from playlists. And also add only the newly created files to a playlist. Below is a small sample of the files created. Anyone know of any way of doing this (workarounds accepted)? The only way I can figure...

Thank for your response and making this utility available!
This is what I have to start with:
d:\new\new 01.mp3
d:\new\new 02.mp3
d:\new\new 03.mp3
The playlist will be created within the same batch file.
These are the commands I am using to create a playlist:
sfk list new *.mp3 +tofile new.m3u
sfk rep -spat "/\x20/%20/" -dir . -file .m3u -nosub -yes
sfk rep -spat...

One could also use the hex version of space: \x20.

I am trying to add a servername to each entry of a playlist.
Going by the help files, this is how I would expect to do this:
sfk addhead <playlist.m3u >playlist.m3u -noblank servername.com/
When I attempt this, the entire contents are erased and nothing is written to the file ... any suggestions ???.

I have one desktop running XP and one tablet running ME.
I used to have synergy server running on the desktop under a different username and the client running on the tablet without a problem.
I have since deleted the XP username and am attempting to run the server under the current username.
For some reason now the two cannot connect.
The client on the tablet gives the error: failed to...
