Got it resolved.
Under Windows, I upgraded my Kwok install to 2.6.9 and updated the kwok database as well.
I then used C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin\pq_dump to dump the database to a file.
C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.2\bin kwokdb > kwok-backup
I then transferred that file to my Linux server.
Under linux, I did the following:
*Switch to postgres user*
sudo su...

Ok, so I have downloaded the latest (2.6.9) version to my Windows server and have updated the database and the kwok directory.
I will continue testing from here.
