Similar problem here with kvm-87:
32-bit guests (Win 2k8 - e1000, Linux 2.6.30.1 - virtio) don't work on 64-bit host (2.6.30.1).
But: on another 32-bit host the guest (virtio) runs great (both 2.6.30.1).
All guests work ok with kvm-86.
