Awesome! I made a slight change to it on my installation that fixed a couple problems:
1. Cread the uploads directory in the paradb directory. Sounds like a no-brainer, but the instruction wasn't there, so I thought I'd add it.

It seems phxEventManager needs to be installed in the root of the web files...
Installing to http://www.domain.com/some/path/ results in many errors due to inconsistent use of $PEM_PATH variable versus hard coded paths.
Installing to http://somehost.domain.com/ works OK.
