I tested your key combination with Xfe 1.32.1 in two panels mode on Debian Lenny, and I still don't see the bug. I also tested with Fedora 11 and I don't see the bug too.
Perhaps there is something on your system that interacts with Xfe. What language do you use? Do you use scim? Did you install something related to the keyboard management?

I've tried with Xfe 1.32.1 on Debian Lenny but I wasn't able to reproduce the bug.
Could you give me further details :
- could you detail me a procedure where the bug happen (ex: select a file on the right panel, then press F9, then accept the dialog, then press Ctrl-A or something like this)?
- does the bug happen each time? Or only sometimes?

Hi,
yes, this has been solved in Xfe some time ago. You can display file names and user interface using a unicode chinese font. All you have to do in Xfe is to select a chinese unicode font in the Fonts tab of the Preference dialog and restart Xfe.

I tested Xfe with Xubuntu 9.10 (fresh install) and everything works well, there is no UI problem. I must say the XFCE desktop is very impressive and Xfe fits very well within it.
I used FOX 1.6.36 (the deb package I provide on my website) and Xfe 1.32.1 (my deb package). I've seen no bug.

yes, there is a problem with window managers like Icewm, Openbox and probably others. However, the problem does not arise with Metacity for example.

Ok, I've seen your screenshot. I've tested Xfe 1.32 with Ubuntu 9.04 but not with the current 9.10. Perhaps it's a problem with this new version?
Anyway, are you sure you installed Xfe 1.32 and not 1.04?
