I have a very similar problem. Hugin just crashes when deleting control points. This is limited to some projects, meaning the deletion works for one project but crashed reproducably for a different one.
All control points where created by the hugin standard SIFT for OS X itself.
Versions: hugin 0.7.0, OS X 10.5.5
This is very annoying ;(.

First: I've seen hugin a couple of years ago and to see it as 0.7 again is a great pleasure!
It's by far the best open source stitcher application available today for OS X!
I've only one issue with it. Whenever hugin runs and calculates something the syslog deamon goes crazy. It uses lots of CPU time and writes thousands and thousands of lines os log information like the following...

Hi,
installed gted 0.5.1 on OS X with Eclipe 3.2.2. Unfortunately there are some issues with that, one of them beeing, that all text I enter in the form will be inserted from right to left! So basically I'd have to write backwards which is not working for me :)

I added the .po definition and set the default encoding type to UTF-8. The only thing that changed is that the default editor for .po files is not gted anymore but the standard text editor.
So, not solved yet.
