If the 2 fonts are not in the DVD Menu Editor font list, it means that they should not be real True Type. Thus they are not supported by AVStoDVD.
Please do use only fonts listed by AVStoDVD.

it could be a directshow codec issue. I suggest you to install ffdshow and then retry.
