The Word 2003-related code and templates are not developed or hooked to the rest of the code anymore. We resolved to generating 2007 files instead of 2003 files for the main reason that 2003 files can only be read by Word 2003 onward, while Word 2007 files can be read by older version of Word after installing the free compatibility pack (link below)...

We started using Git for the Orbeon Forms platform maybe a couple of months ago, so Git is quite new to me as well. But coming from a CVS and Subversion background, I like Git a lot. I see importing from SVN is a built-in feature of Git (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/632724/svn-to-git-conversion), so it shouldn't be a big deal. I'll try this out.

Thank you for re-posting this in this forum. I have seen your messages in the list, and we tend to use the forum rather than the list, so we should remove the lists to avoid any confusion.
Right now the source is in a private Subversion repository, and we would like to move it to Git on SourceForge, but just didn't get a chance to do it just yet. And since this is an open source...

As I mentioned earlier, support for the wiki we were using for this project has been discontinued by SourceForge. Everything we had in the wiki has been migrated to a new wiki, which you can access at:
