I'm attempting to run cheops-ng on Ubuntu Gutsy. There's a Debian package which installs fine, in an attempt to troubleshoot this I've also downloaded the latest source from the cheops site and compiled it on the system. Thanks, that does work. The user guide says the setting is called "equatorial" (page 48). When I changed it to "equator" it is now working.

When the viewing_mode variable is set to equatorial in the config.ini the application still starts up in horizon mode. This setting seems to have no effect on program startup.
Sorry if I misunderstood something, I think I'm reading the manual correctly.

Hi,
I've looked everywhere I can think of in the .pdf user guide and I can't seem to find how to change between equatorial and altazimuthal mount in a script. Is there a way to do this?
