What's happening?

getting new soldiers

hi, how is it possilbe that i am only able to hire two soldiers (only two new where shown in 2 month!) but a lot of worker, medics and scientists. i thing the randomiser should be a bit optimised so that it is possible to fill up the ships again after several hard fights. fighting an alien landing ground with only two people is not funny. (version 2.1.1 Mac)

spotting/aiming aliens

Hi, i had several times that an alien could be seen by a solider but i can't shoot it (red aiming line). another point is that it happened several times that solider2 walked just two fieds near the alien (nothing in between) but couldnt see it. and solider2 which walked the same way could see it, so the solider stoped walking and i could shoot on the alien. version 2.1.1 (Mac)
