  • configure --disable-man builds man

I'm writing an ebuild for gentoo and encountered this problem. If you put either --enable-man or --disable-man it will build the man. This can be trivially fixed by changing USE_MAN="yes" to USE_MAN="$enableval" in configure.ac (see attached patch)

  • Force redownload popup selection is ignored

When I try to download a file from the search results which has already been download I get the redownload popup, but selecting yes does not cause the file to redownload (it is not added to the transfers list). I do get it to redownload if i do a 'force_download' in the console. OS: GNU/Linux (Gentoo) mldonkey: 2.9.3 sancho: 0.9.4-58.

Is there any progress with this? With little modification this patch applied to bash 3.1_p16. Was this submitted upstream? What's their response?.

If you have the device nodes but get a permission denied error, you probably need to relax the permissions on the device nodes, e.g. # chmod a+rw /dev/video*.

If you're using Gentoo, try putting the options in /etc/modules.d/rivatv. Just add: options rivatv card=122 Then run modules-update and try to modprobe.

I've tried with rtvl, and its the same at the default capture size. With half PAL the jitterring and spontaneous clicking stops (although the mouse still moves in little jumps), and I get only about 8 fps. In the smallest sizes (172x144) I get full 25 fps. Overlay isn't working. DMA isn't working. All in all it's the same as in xawtv except the capture size can be changed. The image looks...

According to http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2005/08/msg00205.html XV overlay support does not exist in these chips. They want people to use the 3D engine for video playback. Do you have an idea why my mouse starts jittering and clicking on its own when I use grabdisplay mode? That makes that mode completely unusable.

Thanks. I've tried that and the error message is gone, but I still see just a pink screen in overlay mode.
