I also vote for this feature, I believe it is very important for the following reasons:
1) A lot of servers don't have the FTP service installed, but SSH (and SFTP) is always installed for admin access and most of the time it is installed by default. SFTP is also secure, unlike FTP. Quite often the admins won't install FTP on the server only for me, especially if the server doesn't require it...
