P.S. I just tried it again but this time I unzipped the file. This time, it worked, you can see the model along with its texture when you start up SH3D.
I thought that unzipping was not needed for the newer versions. Did you disable that feature?.

I'm using SH3D 1.8
I imported my latest piece of furniture (the bench) and it worked as usual (using the .zip file without unzipping it). After checking it in the home, (everything looked fine -- texture and all) I shut SH3D down without saving the home. The next time I started SH3D and used that new piece (the bench) all I got in the 3D view was just a red box. The same thing happened with the...

This is a bench. There will eventually be a footrest/table (that is why the file name has both words). The footrest/table will be submitted separately.
