I assume that you are working with Kile itself sometimes to edit LaTeX sources. Do not you also use to have paragraphs statically word wrapped and verbatim/listings environments not wrapped? How do you deal with this while editing?

Enabling and disabling static word wrap in Kile 2.0.81 (using KDE 4.2.2) requires every time to select:
Settings -> Configure Kile -> Editor -> Editing -> "Enable static word wrap"
This is very annoying when editing LaTeX sources, where paragraphs are typically word wrapped and verbatim environments are not.
