>What is your org model? Where are the problems?
I thought so using reporting hierarchies as a way out. However, I was just thinking that if we have to pass the Org tree id to the lookup codes, why not give an option for user to choose the Org tree. So my simple idea is to add Org Tree id into the table proposed by Trifon.

Hi Trifon,
>I would like to help you in integrating this functionality in trunk. Please feel free to create Feature Request or commit changes to branch. I will review them.
Thank you for your help. Let's work together next week, now I'm on holiday.
Hi Mike,
>The additional work between what you have implemented and the hierarchical version is a small lookup in MSequence.

Hi Mike,
We have customized this year similar feature for couple of multi-branches companies. But we don't have such hierarchy thing, i.e. you need to define the sequence for each, say, 20 branches you have. The table structure is exactly as Trifon suggested and the tab is embedded under Document Type window. The change is so minimal, only in MSequence.java

Corrected.
>I think there may be condition in multi org, they want org A to post into account #1 but org B to post into account #2.
I mean for Any account, org A to post into X #1 and org B into X #2
where X can be any Dimension available.
I don't have a real world example yet. Just a quick thought as I'm in hurry right now, maybe not correct anyway, an automotive dealer has three...

Hi Carlos,
Good catch. I prefer #1. Although it's very rare, I think there may be condition in multi org, they want org A to post into account #1 but org B to post into account #2. About potential "double-distribution" problems, it's hard to prevent. It can also happen for other "Any" dimensions.

Carlos,

Hi Carlos,
I agree with Steven for the sake of consistency and I'm worried about that being backward compatible? IMHO, mixed payments are mixed payments that mean you can have multiple payments that each has different process handling.
>Unfortunately the implementation of the cash in payments was very disruptive, incomplete, and buggy; and nobody has taken the time to fix it. Accounting is...

Hi Carlos,
I think it's all about the correct perception.
>I counter-ask - what is the meaning of setting no credit check - and
>setting a credit limit ?
They want to set a temporal status without changing the limit.
>IMHO it can mean the user wants a check warning, but not
>stopping the sale.
Why on earth, if we say No credit check please, but Adempiere still bother to keep the...

Hi all,
>I think the warning is good - and if somebody doesn't want the warning
>then simply the credit limit must be zero.
I share from experience with users.
If I dont' want the warning, can we just set the credit status to No Credit Check instead of changing the limit ? After all, what is that status suggesting in the first place ? No credit check means I don't want the warning...
