I unfortunately don't have access to an IIS 7 server and have not been able to reproduce the problem. It seems that with with the usual LAMP stack everything works fine though. Would it at all be possible for you to try and fix this and submit the fix? I could then test it on my system and if we find something that is suitable for both then we can make the change.

no, the amfext codebase is in such a sorry state(as far as I know) that we can't support it as is. If amfext is cleaned up we'd be delighted to support it though.
