2. put the name of the application do you want and whait for the proposal.
3. click in the applications of you choice.
4. ckick in the apply bouton.

you are rigth!
nice idea, i must include a safe graphics boot options in next release!
make vixta in ubuntu (.deb), it is a nother nice idea, but no time to do it!
PS: simllis.org is equal to vixta.org, but without 3D activated.

teh problem is not the funcionality of the forum...
is that i am not a LINUX PROFESSIONAL and have any caind of help to maintain vixta.org!!!!
if someone wabt to hel in the forum it will be very WELCOME!
i am sorry, but in my country, Portugal, linux is not a way to full fill the needs of my family!!!!!!

it is a known bug.
just log in as root, and create a new users with the tool:
start->applications->administration->Users and Groups.
